Paddington Terrace
We love working on Sydney terrace houses for their unique challenges and potential. The Paddington Terrace project was particularly rewarding. The client was dissatisfied with her previous architect’s uninspired design. We connected instantly and understood her vision. Her three-level terrace had a cramped kitchen, rundown bathroom, and poor connection to the courtyard. She wanted large bi-fold doors, a laundry space, and an expanded bathroom without losing her study.
Instead of just adding large doors, Anna proposed a cafe-style window seat with sliding doors, creating a breakfast area that opened the kitchen to the courtyard. She also designed a spacious bathroom while preserving the study with an open nook. We assisted with the interior design, including a new glass balustrade.
The result was a significant improvement that delighted the client and was featured in TREND magazine.
